Welcome to a walk through some of the projects we've had the privilege of working on. Sometimes the best way to understand a service is by looking at how others have used it.  Below are four case histories covering some of our work, but we are happy to hop on the phone and share more! Automated Follow Ups

 

We worked with a supplier in the promotional products industry to help increase customer engagement. Previously the supplier had measured their email marketing success rate off of open rates, and while higher open rates are great what we really want is engagement. By creating an automated follow up we were able to help their customers move from the first step of "interest" onward to ordering samples and requesting quotes. Before our automated follow up the supplier reported back zero sample requests and zero quote requests off of most of their EDMs. After we implemented the automated follow up they saw a massive change and each follow up generated 15-20 sample requests, which in turn led to more quote requests and ultimately more orders.

Websites & Webstores

 

During the pandemic one of our clients pivoted their primary business over to PPE and asked us to assist with creating a website. Our team was also tasked with marketing the website through social media. We created a beautiful web store geared towards educating customers on what to purchase and providing news updates on what restrictions and regulations were in place by state. We were able to launch an incredibly successful advertising campaign on Facebook before the bans on PPE advertising kicked in resulting in a great success.

Confirmations

 

Our team was privileged to work with an up and coming hotel chain. They needed an automated system that could pull information from their system and create emails to keep their guests informed. Our team was able to get online with the company that ran their CRM system and develop a fully automated system that delivered reservation confirmations, instructions for accessing hotel rooms, and a survey once guests had checked out. In addition we cycled negative survey responses to upper management and positive responses triggered new email campaigns encouraging guests to share their feedback on Google reviews.

One of our promotional distributors wanted to create a series of product focused EDMs that were based around the brand colours of their clients. Our team worked with the distributor to add data tags to each client based on the primary colour of their logo. Once complete we were able to create email campaigns where the images would change based on the customer's brand colours. If the customer's primary colour was red they would see red products, if it was black they would see black products etc. This resulted in a very personalized series of EDMs.

Email Questions :

Q: Do all email services have to be purchased in bundles?

A: Absolutely not! The bundles are just a quick way to stay top of mind, and a quick easy solution. We are happy to dive deeper and create more complex campaigns. These types of projects are quoted on a per project basis. You can click here to view our current rates.

Q: What if I don't remember how to login and track my email campaign results?

A: Not to worry! Every month we send out a resource email with instructions on how to login and review your campaign results. Our team is always standing by to assist as well.

Q: How do follow up emails work?

A: If you would like to setup follow up emails (or if they are included in your bundle) just contact our team! We typically suggest doing follow ups on any product or EDM that had a high success rate. If you have follow ups included in your bundle, our team will also offer suggestions based on click tracking. We will also work with you and your team to determine what type of follow up will deliver the best results.

Q: What email provider do you recommend?

A: We are certified with Mailchimp and are very familiar with the software and its "quirks", but Mailchimp is not required. Q: Why are bundles cheaper than designing campaigns one by one?

A: Bundles are built as a "set it and forget it" option. Our team designs your template and then populates it with different products based on your selections. All of the work is done immediately and then scheduled to send out throughout the year. This setup allows us to work at a much higher efficiency, leading to reduced costs. Please note that some email providers may require a paid level to enable advanced scheduling.

Q: Do I have to pick out all of the products for each EDM?

A: With our email bundles, the pricing is setup for you and your team to select the products. This is not a requirement, but there will be added costs on top of the bundle pricing if our team needs to select the products for you. The current pricing for email bundles can be viewed here. It is important to note that these prices are based on all products being selected by your team at the time the email bundle is purchased (within 30 days).

Q: What if I purchase an email bundle but then I see new products I want to include?

A: You can always work with our team to create additional EDMs (which we bill hourly). The bundles are our "set it and forget it" model and work as a starting ground for getting your business into the world of email marketing. You can click here to see our current rates.

Consulting Questions :

Q: What social media services do you offer?

A: We are capable of creating posts, stories, link trees, and videos by request. We also offer a "set it and forget it" option where our team will take posts from your favorite suppliers and convert them into "end user friendly" posts before posting them to your social accounts. 

​

Q: What if I see a new product that was not available when I signed up, but I want it included in my social media calendar?

A: We take the same approach with our email bundles. Just because you have setup an automated year's worth of posts does not mean you cannot add to that. You will remain in complete control of your socials, so if you want to add something on your own, or post in tandem, you can. Additionally if you want our team to make additional posts as new ideas or products appear we can always add to your calendar (which we bill hourly).

Q: What is the minimum amount of time that can be booked for consulting?

A: All of our work is done in hour increments (rounded up). The minimum for any request is one hour, so if a job takes 15 minutes or 60 minutes it is billed as one hour. 

​

Q; Is my client information kept confidential? 

A: Yes absolutely! Mailchimp will always alert you if someone attempts to download your client list, and our team will never download a list without your written permission.  With data mining we encourage our customers to remove any client information prior to sending over the data. Once data mining is complete all original data files will be deleted.

Webinars & Training Questions :

​

Q: I don't see any APPA webinars scheduled, when will this be updated?

A: All APPA webinars are done in tandem with APPA, and they control the scheduling. Once a webinar or series of webinars as been confirmed, APPA will send out information on how to register. The best way to stay up to date on webinars is to keep an eye out for APPA announcements. Click Here for a list of current events at APPA.

Q: Can you record private sessions and training?

A: Yes we can! We do our best to schedule training and private sessions within Zoom's 45 minute threshold to avoid anyone needing to pay for their premium services. If requested we will record the session and make it available via dropbox. We highly recommend downloading the recording right away as we do clear out recorded videos every few months.

​

Q: Can you consult with offshore teams?

A: Yes we can! In fact, we've done this a few times. We will work with you and your team to setup the perfect date/time to hold the meeting and we are more than willing to work after hours to accommodate these types of meetings.

​

Q: What if you train our team and we no longer need you?

A: Success! Our team does not gate keep, and we view clients going out on their own as a massive compliment. Our goal is your success, in any form that takes flight. Some of our favorite clients are no longer clients as we were able to train their team take over.
